Yerp your the only one mate, and I dont know why. Where the battery goes, is the best spot for oil drain and pimpin "check out my turbro" status as well. Not to mention any other place would need customisation of the ebay hot pipes or fabrication of your own which means big moneys.

mici mounted his next to the transmission.

that mazdarati twin turbo mx6 has both his right off the log manifolds.

Im sure you could do a remote mount kit, there are many options for locating the turbo, but would require some modification.

The oil lines are still under construction on that pic. Also this is actually a bit out-dated pic, the turbo has changed after that one and new turbo required a bit of modification for the piping of course.

The Link+ has not started the car yet. It will though, during this winter. I've been busy with other projects and as this one needs full attention and concentration of mine, I have to get my GF's MR2 out of my car-loving hands first. (SW20 3SGE non-turbo, everything worn out, awful car, I hate it, my account balance is on red due to getting parts for the rebuilds... blah..)

Mazda will be back hopefully during the first 1/3 of -08. And yea, the thing hasn't moved a lot for over 2 years.
