I actually havent had the chance to test the mods yet, as the car is up on 4 jack stands and torn apart. before the mods my only shifting problems were an extremely hard 1-2 shift at only 1/2 throttle, incorrect or no downshifting at all and no overdrive, which i found out was due to a bad pulse generator sensor.

I believe those are dyno queens. They just couldnt use that power on the street/track.

Dan even admits that he knows he expects to destroy some transmissions. He was one of the first people to think about going to an atx again, rebuilt stronger of course. Once you guys start putting down power you will realize how hard it is to get traction. Mine isnt any fun to drive on more than 8psi because I dont get grip until 3rd on street tires. Its useless power with an open diff FWD car. We just dont have many affordable options.

I know local (Aussie) Ford laser guys (same G series box) have ripped PAR 3rd gears as well. Case flex happens bad at even high speeds as well apparently. They came up with a solution as well, Toyota box with adapter plate. I couldnt come up with anymore information with that. Toyota boxes from supercharged Levins are fairly common here in Aus (and very strong) so I wouldnt be suprised if they were using them.
