Megasquit hook up & tuning

Im thinking a bout run a mega squirt . How hard are they to install your-self and is it hard to tune with. other question is i will be runing a kl03, sc ,millenia s injectors, 255pump ,6psi max . Am i wasting my money with ms or should i just run a FMU .what kind of gains will there really be.

please dont be a smart A--. just a question to see what people opinions were since im only boosting 6 psi not 10 psi or any thing. i am aware MS is far superior but is it woth the extra money in my case? and i need to know how hard it is for a norrmal person to tune . sorry if i sounded like a dumb a-- . just need opinions...

people ask this type of question every week. If you search Megasquirt here, you will come up with more then enough info. Heck just browsing through the FI threads will supply you enough info.

You can only benifet from it. an FMU is the cheapest, easiest way to boost your car.
For your case, it might not be the best solution untill you can learn about it first.

Thank u for your help . i went to megasquirt web sight and learned plenty . Mainly that having to basicly rewire my hole engine is probly not worth it in my case . maybe later when i start thinkin my car is to slow again . until then FMU it is!!! thanks for your help even the Smart a--es.

Rewire your whole engine? There is like three or four wires you actually have to cut, the other wires you just tap. Between here and PT, there is no reason why someone couldn't figure out MS.

actually its like 7-8 wires that need to be cut. 6 of them being the injectors. You also need to run an extra wire for IAT.

All of it is simple and straight forward. Very well documented and its all done inside the car on the ecu harness, I wouldnt say anyone could do it, because there is alot of dumb people these days

It starts getting trickier, it seems as I'm not running MS, yet, when you use the unused pins to power things like VRIS and the fans. But even those are very well documented with diagrams, and how to do them.

When you do the MAF/VAF delete you use 2 of those wires run right to the ECU so you dont have to string new ones.

You can always buy PnP too, and not have to cut/splice/wiring yourself.

	KLZE curved neck boosted @ 5 PSI. Millenia s Inj, Cosmo AFPR, Vortech 12:1 fmu. AEM Wideband, sidemount intercooled. ONE FAST little car. ALL DONE PHYSICALLY BY ME.No shops.

	The King OF AFTERMARKET/USED PARTS F/S F/S K6F Radiator support brackets, fuse box covers, egr block offs < 94/LS-T -possibly for sale. B.O
