Finally boosted...Almost...help

Hey guys. I just picked up a guys turbo project with a new rebuilt motor and tranni. Eveything is mounted and installed except for the intercooler and a few other things. The car has msd coil ignition and he put in a mass air flow sensor; along with a ton of other things. I need an ecu though. Megasquirt looks like my best bet.

I have a probinator chip. Could i edit the chip with the correct fuel maps instead of megasquirt?

Also the cams in the car have been ground to give the car around a 10:1 compression ratio. (Really close to there.) Some people run their ZE cams with a turbo and some say not to?

In the Works: KLDE with T3 Turbonetics turbo/ .60trim, 370cc injectors, MSD, AFPR, Megasquirt PnP, intercooled with 2" mandrel piping, performance cams, CenterforceStage 3 clutch, fidanza 9lb flywheel, Greddy SP1 Catback exhaust, SEIBON Carbon fiber hood, RX7 FD Rims, Hubert the Parrotlesss ASPEC Retro fitted HID's, and 05 SI Front seats.
Daily Driver: 4dr 07 SI...Stock for now.

NO, go and get MS. It's cheap and will save your engine from blowing up.

How do you change copression by grinding cams? Leave the ZE cams in but don't rev past 6500rpm.

Radar or fastest95pgt are alot better options then the DIY kits for a newbie. I bought one from the probetalk bulk buy from Radar, very straight forward to install (1-2 hours of soldering a few wires), the basemap you get is more then good enough to drive around on safetly with still plenty of power. Best option by far as it is built for a mx6/probe and ready to go straight away. And after sales support as well

Turbo charged, intercooled and Megasquirted KLZE -RB25DET injectors and other boost related goodies - Custom PP Exedy HD Clutch - 2.5" turboback - DBA Slotted x4, EBC Greens - 17" Superlight forged Regamaster Rims - My car (before turbo) http://www.mx6.com/forums/gallery/19...56k-no-go.html
