Turbos

Alright I don't know much of anything about Turbos so I need so help.

I'm looking to put a Turbo into my 1993 MX6 LS but don't know wat kind. Wat is the best brand and model turbo to put into it? And how much might that run me?

On adding a turbo, wat else is there that you have to buy and install (if anything) for it to function properly?

Thanks for the help.

Now I know how you guys feel when I make threads...

LOL ok there are some very usefull threads on this... the size of the turbo can ONLY be decided by you and what you plan to do with it.

SEARCH!

Nothing to do with a turbo car is cheap or easy. You need a [shizzle]load of different things to make a complete turbo setup that will last longer than a day. Plan on spending a few thousand dollars for the setup and a few more when things break (they absolutely will). The turbo size depends on what you want the car to do. There are boosted cars making 250hp and there are boosted cars making 500hp. It's all in the setup.

I'll say it again: SEARCH!

Current Project: New Suspension (sorry, no Ksports)
Next Project: PC'd VC's + Fuel Rails (Bronze) and KLZE IM w/ 67mm TB (Titanium)

It's getting there.

when you go into a section look at the top of the page it is called "stickey" go threw and read every single one and then post after you have some sort of clue. boost may sound good but if you have no clue what you are doing then you are going to blow yourself up man. read up and then talk about it. boost is not like what you see in the movies.
