You need a wide band controller to get a proper wide band reading. If you just hook up the wide band O2 sensor to the gauge it won't be much different than a stock O2 gauge.

WTB- ZE Throttle Body w/ IAC Pm me if you have one!

It's getting there.

that is what I figured. I am not in a big rush to get the wide band I am going to run low boost and it will get a tune from the best in cbus, thanks to slow motion 500 bucks down but it will be well worth it I am sure. thanks chef

If you are getting it tuned by someone else many would say (ask your tuner) that you dont even need a wideband at all.

Just throwing it out there.

$500 to tune the engine? Holy cash batman! I'll tune it for 400

I think you should eventually get to the point where you can tune it yourself and you should buy a wideband just for precaution. Just because they show you a plot on a dyno saying its tuned for WOT you will still have hiccups and issues when the climate changes and while cruising on light throttle. I hope you get your moneys worth!

Reputable shops wont just tune for WOT and say away you go. All loads are done and doing this on a dyno is alot easier then on the road. Not to mention you can adjust timing to make as much power as possible (max advance isnt always good) even on low load areas that the ass dyno would not be able to pick up. Not to mention from someone who does it for a living.
