Personally, if I was gonna turbo a car, I'd do it the right way and rebuild the entire engine with forged rods and pistons and a new valvetrain, replace all worn suspension and drivetrain parts, and then turbo it.

dude you really need to read up on boost before you go at it man. and google dont count for a search. I dont want to be a asshole but I dont want to see this go wrong for ya. go get a book called max boost by corky bell. read that and then you will know sooooooooooooo much more about boost, and you odds are wont have anything left to ask. wish ya the best man and be safe.

you only learn the basics and concept in max boost. To tell the truth it hasent really helped me peice together my setup. Though it is a good reference for those that are new wanting to learn how it all works together.
Searching and reading is your best freind. Once you get to a point of understanding, your questions are more specific to the car. Like, you wont be asking what do i need?... you will be asking what size Ic will fit in the bumper, or whats the best location to tap the oil pan?.. |
