Thinking of FI

Hey guys, I'm thinking of putting a turbo kit together.
I've search this site and a few other once.(design by den)
I dont really want to go with the ebay cheap kit but I also dont want to spend over 1300$ for the turbo kit.

I want just a basic kit 5-8psi daily driving safe. nothing to crazy.
Where is the best place to buy the turbo, fitting, oil lines, bov, waste gate, etc.
There really isn;t a detail parts list with prices for the kit on this site. Maybe I missed something.

Thanks guys.

Come on guys, I know that you guys are tired of people coming up with turbo q's such as that.

Do you guys think this setup will last at 8 psi or no, will the ze handle it with just a 255 walbro pump?

Very quick answers. First being search more.

255 is neccessary, you also need at least millenia injectors. The stockers will not cope on a ZE at 7psi.

Forget ebay anything, just find the ebay pipes, they are fine. Everything else, shop around. You just want a turbo with T3 flanges. Buy second hand, or go to a performance shop. Go ebay if you want to risk it, up to you.

I will others fill in the rest, I cbf.

if you dont want to spend more than 13xx on a turbo kit, then boost is not for you.

im over 2500 without an intercooler. and still need bolts for downpipe and some exhaust wrap. and labor to cut my xmember. and now find time to put it all together.

with a budget like that jsut finish maintenence and........

.. ZEX it!

I agree you could.... boost for that much. but any time you put a price tag on boost it is a bad idea. when you boost good chance something will go wrong! boost is not cheap. first thing first, if you dont have them get all the lil bolt on's for power. if that is not enough you could do head work. and if that is not enough then spray. to mod a old car means something is going to bust.

start out slow on the spray. go with like a 50 wet kit to be safe to start. but first do a comp test and make sure you are good to go. and if you take the 50 fine then bump it up to 75. I want to say anything over 75 you need to do work to the fule system?

If you want to go FI, you cant put a cap on your spending limit.
EVEN if you buy ebay everything, junk yard scavenge parts and ghettofy everything, your going to be spending money on fixing boost related problems, Not to mention time.. (IMO Time is Money, if its your only car)
