if im rebuilding the engine sould i also rebuild the tranny? i hear there not the strongest things?

The G series trannys aren't very strong in general. I know you can use the LSD and gears from a Mazdaspeed Protege in the MX6 tranny, not sure if it has better gear ratios though.
