to the motor itself, nothing if you want a mild setup, to the stuff around it, quite a lot. manifold, ecu, sensors, oil feed to turbo plumbing to and from intercooler, new exhaust front half at least, etc.

ok, maybe that was a bit harsh, but your initial comment was totally unnecessary. i'm sorry.

it was a joke. notice the "hahahahahahahahahaha" above it. look at the question i responded too, and the 10 before it .

either way, why would it be unnecessary? its not like this thread is doing much, other than dogging on veterans and people talking about whos car is faster.

haha guys im buying a wrangler sahara, they come standard 4.0L 190hp 235trq, 4x4 the compression ratio is around 8.8:1.. what kind of turbo am i gonna be looking at for a decent boost, say 8psi? i think redline starts at like what 5600? so it wont need a lot of range as far as spooling, im just not sure how much of a difference its gonna make developing a system for a small suv vs. a car.. laugh at me and with me, and then get back to me haha

I have a 94 pgt and next year my or in the summer my brother and i will be making all the turbo pipes for my car because he can weld. but I am wondering what do you guys think of the CT-26 turbo off the older supra because i have one out of a supra that i ripped out of a junkyard with no shaft play, yes none. How much lag to what rpm do you think. and i know ill have to custom weld new coolant lines somewhere, dont know where and oil lines. if you ever seen the oil feed and drain line from that turbo then you would know or think it would be hard to make that all work right. look on google people. hope fully some knows about this stupid turbo.

thanks
