No, you cannot run both nitrous and a turbocharger on your stock motor, and no, ze pistons and rods will not make your car better at handling boost. "Mid size turbo" is meaningless. All turbos (or rather, the wastegates which accompany them) are capable of operating at many different boost levels, and even a dinky turbo like a t25 is capable of creating enough boost to obliterate the weak bottom end of a KL-series motor.

I am very interested in FI for our beloved mx-6, I have read everything on the mx6.com forums in my opinion on this subject.

however i would like to know a rough estimate of this project and if thats not possible can someone make a list of all the parts required to SAFELY turbocharge my car.

another question would a millennia manifold work better for a turbo than stock? i ask this because the millenia manifold curves towards the front of the engine. if anything would it make for less work? just wondering.

I'm sorry if I sound like a pain in the ass. but I'm sure i'm not the only one who would like to know.

Razor, I dare say that yes, if you upgraded the rods and pistons to forged items then your ZE engine would be able to manage more boost, whether that means you would need or want a bigger turbo is a matter for you to discuss with your turbo supplier.
If you did replace your pistons you would be best going for a design that would give a lower CR than the ZEs as it would limit the amount of boost you could run especially if you wanted to inject nitrous oxide at the same time.

It may be worthy of note that if your engine is up to it then you can inject nitrous and run a turbo at the same time but I wouldn't try it either on std internals. It is better however to run nitrous rather than run the turbo to its limit but you have to consider that while injecting it will increase your peak boost for a while, probably quicker than waste gate can control at 1st.

I would do both if I had an engine to support it

I am thinking of adding Mark 626GT to my ignore list

id dont matter if u use two different sized turbos yeah its a good idea but think about it they can only put the same amount of boost through the intake it doesnt just gain power at low rpms then at high rpms it switches over to the other turbo it wont work save ur money and go with twin turbos the same size and set a lil higher boost

An LS is a 6 cylinder. What is it that you have? KLDE or the FS-01?

http://www.importperformanceparts.net/

that link will give you some good quotes on stuff to buy for your car's engine. just click on ford then go to engine kits and it includes everything to safely run 15-20 psi. but its about 1k just for the internals, you can get turbos and the other fun stuff on there also.

also J-FLow

a fuel pressure regulator is the the best thing to use if your using stock injectors, it will allow you to make more fuel flow through them even though there stock, so i would recommend that until you upgrade your injectors.
