power door locks
i read somewhee that all 93-97 mx-6 ls have power door locks yet i cant seem to find a power lock switch... ive only had my mx-6 for about a month and i wanted to know if my car just didnt have power locks or if im over looking the switch.....ive seen pics of the inside of other ls models and they look the same as mine with only the mirror and window switches on the door panel.... please help me out..... thanks
I always have to wait til my passenger shuts their door to flip the switch, otherwise it flips back open when the door latches. Anybody does everyone's 6 do this? or is it just a fluke?

mine does that too. a asked a body shop about it and they said you have to shut the door a certain way, something about pulling on the door release while locking it or something. I fergot . some kind of safety feature i guess

you can tell your passengers to close the door while holding the handle. But then again, ppl are too stupid to understand the concept
Holding the handle up while closing the door....What's that Do? - Duh.!!!
Some japanese car are like that(my friend 90 integra), I think it's to remember you to not forget your keys in. I add the door lock 1 month after i got the car cause that thing make me go crazy.
hah, never mind that mess. its even worse having to tell your friends not to shut the door by the window over and over. my window is becoming flimsy on the passenger side and the window has problems rolling up sometimes too
It's easy to add power locks, especially if you have an alarm already. If you don't, just get a remote/module and a kit with the actuator in it. Mount the actuator in drivers door and your set to go...I never use the key to open the door anymore, since the locks suck.
