95 V6 and I4, gap is 0.039 to 0.043 inch, according to Haynes.
I can't tell you exactly how to gap them without knowing what tool you have, but, in all cases, you gently bend the outer (curved) electrode, never the inner electrode, until you get the required gap between the outer and inner electrode.
That's odd considering our stock plug (NGK ZFR6F-11) for the V6 comes gapped at .044.. I don't have a manual infront of me (nor do I find this enough cuase to get off my ass for).
Regardless, I can't think of a good way to gap the plug without a gapper.. I'd suggest going to the local parts store and getting the cheap 99 cent gapper that goes on your key ring. I've heard stories of using a "thin dime" but ... lol, which one's a thin dime??
p.s. I figured I'd reply here instead of responding to your PM.
A 92 is normally a first generation MX6, so you would get better advice if you posted this question in the 1G section, here: http://www.mx6.com/forums/1g-mx6-general/
(There may be some 92 second generations in Australia, or Europe).
Don't mean to highjack this thread, I just bought plugs for my 95 LS and was told the part # for NGK changed from ZFR6F-11 to NGK 2477. This is the part # they sold me and said they looked it up for my vehicle. Does this sound right? BTW......I bought them @ Advance Auto Parts
