No, I have never had to change the starter. It should not be that hard. I had mine for 127k and it's on my ZE after the transplant. I was going to replace it but as I recall they were really expensive.
yeah it so easy to get to, especially if you have a CAI or a conical filter on, because you just get to it and take it off without removing the intake!!!!
prolly one of the easier jobs on this vehicle .. thanks god!!!, after where the waterpump is, we deserve a easy to get to starter!!!
Mine broke down just after I bought the car, right after about driving 30 miles, i got of the highway forgot to put the clutch in, and the car stalled and i couldn't turn it on again, you can notice that its going bad if you are having trouble starting it, specially if its cold.
Well, I guess MX6 starter is pretty reliable^________^ Big smile!
Most of my friends with Honda, starter should be changed around 180,000 miles(it burns out) so I guess our cars might be.....^.^;
