Xedos 6 & Eunos 500 owners

Has anyone out there with a Xedos 6 or Eunos 500 changed there fuel filter???

Although the filter is the same as the MX6's removing the single bolt the clamps the filter is impossible as there is no room, even after removing air box ect.

If any one has done this please let me know how you did it.

didnt i tell youit might be a 1 hour plus job in your first post and some people didnt believe me

A standard ratchet wont fit down there???Really? have you tried it the other way? Coming up from the wheel well some people say it works that way. But I would wait for more responses first before attempting this. Spray some lubricant/rustremover on there and let it sit for a while

I can't get to the bolt either way from the top or the bottom a standard rachet would fit if there was enough room to get to it!!!

i hate to say this, but it isnt worth the aggravation it seems it is causing you, just bring it to a shop or the ,dare i say DEALER. just make sure they took out the old one. Mark the old filter with a white out pen or something.

That will be my very last resort, I have a Haynes Manual on order I will take a look at that to see if that sheds any light on the problem first.
