Exclamation Rebuilding Faq - Need Your Help

FAQ needs help. We have the content, and the body of knowledge... but we don't have any effective way to present it to the user - either new or vet.

Instead of patching it all together from the fragmented bits that we have - I'd like to rebuild a FAQ altogether, in easily used and printed PDF format. (please submit to me in an editable format, however. We will create the pdf's and watermark them appropriately)

I have no problem referring to and including information from some of the excellent write ups out there (such as the Leska write ups) BUT - with pic links long since dead, the write ups often lead nowhere. If you have these saved anywhere, please forward them along. Thank you to the several members who have already forwarded along what they had.

Please submit any pics and the associated write up (if its not yours) to me, and we can start rebuilding the FAQ to properly represent the body of information this site contains.

The functioning write ups with pics that we do have - if you are the thread originator, I'll be contacting you with any edits, additions i might need, as well as placing them into pdf formats.

I'll be fielding as many of these as i can, myself, but all help is appreciated, and indeed necessary for us to have a usable FAQ within a reasonable time period. Please note, MOST of the categories below already have a write up somewhere. I'm just using this as a checklist of sorts, and making sure we use the most updated and complete information, and most importantly, have actual pics, that we can attach and host HERE so we do not rely on the comings and goings of external hosts.

Wow! Sounds like a seriously major effort! Sadly, I don't think I've got all that much to offer other than encouragement.

... well, the engines back in the car; now I just gotta get around to putting all the other bits in with it!

A write up on replacing the power steering rack (which is a fun job) would be nice... I'd be more then happy to help with that as I figured out a nifty way to get the rack out without touching the subframe.
