Cant pass 3RPM help!! plz

I have a spark, fuel or/and air issue

its getting worst and worst, to the point I cant drive the car, and Im about to have to put her to sleep.

Soon as it hits 2800 RPMs Backfiring starts, sputters, wont pick up speed
Although, If I slowly take it over 3k to 4k, the rest of the way to 6k is a little smoother then it is tring to get to 3k

The backfire, were talking a foot long fire ball.

Things iv noticed thats helped
Replaced Heater core, raditor, and lines, Made it idle much better
TBody cleaner helped just a tad
Held my air compressor on the TB and let it flow, made it run smoother
Exhaust gasket to downpipe replaced (fixed alot)

Things that arent doing a thing
Tune Ups make no difference
Fuel treatment is no longer making any effect

Iv used some Racing Gas intown, (95 octane) made just a little bit, I was able to reach around 4k before Issues started.

Im stumped on this, I think its burning to much fuel. but cant figure why it only happens from 2800k and up

im in 5th gear by the time I hit 35 and thats not cool. to count that my top speed is now 65.
No matter what gear im in, if I floor it, it slowly takes off, cant burn out. no matter how hard, or wht rpm i drop it

Replace your coolant sensors.
Check your timing and make sure it is set correctly.

As far as the Coolant sensors Go, I dont think those are wrong, i had someone under the hood making sure most Electrical parts were up to standards in the books

Not to count , if it had anything to do with 'heat' then When I start it up in the morning shed be my baby, which isnt the case

Lets recap and add details here
Soon as I start it, says its idleing at 2k
Warms up about 10mins ilde at 1.5k another 5, its a solid 1k
Take it out for a spin, every stop light its 1k, sometimes it 800rpm
While in N coming to a stop, it surges from 800 to 1.5k ,, kinda like a heart beat, then levels out when at FULL stop

(What I mean by tune up) which ALL have been replaced every two weeks lately
NGK plugs and wires
Fuel Filter
PCV
O2 Sensor
(few other tiny things)
Today, I just took apart the entire Intake Manifold, its not basicly a brand new Piece
Completely removed ALL build up, had it boiled, and I hand cleaned the TB with TB cleaner
I cleaned the EGR completely, but the IACV i couldnt get it into two pieces so I half as cleaner and oiled it

Im getting very very depressed, its getting worst, and its very close to 2.5k and when it gets there, it WONT be driveable with its crappy Idle
The last thing Im gonna try is to buy a BRAND NEW Disty and IACV

I honestly think its running way to much fuel, how can I adjest this without Readers
Oh and the Fireball is almost Blue, and it really is 1 foot

What about the oil pressure sensor / regulator?
I was having the ECACT same problems with mine a week ago, and the wire on the sensor was a bit loose and not making perfect contact, so I shoved it on as far as it would go, and it runs great now.

even if the MAF is bad, it should still rev up higher than 3k

Try playing with the timing. I had a simalar problem a while back. turned out the disty was about 90 degrees off.

also it might sound stupid, but did you check that all 4 cyc are getting spark?

The disty is controlled by 90 degrees on the I4, it hasnt ever been moved, nor the timeing and its ran great before

today after finely driving it more then 15 mins, i got to see some result from cleaning the Intake

It wasnt as jumpy pasing 3k, after 3.5k it was my baby again, sometime all the way up to 6 like i want.

What ever it is, i dont think is something easy like timing

Try checking the actual timing belt.

Take off the belt covers and accessory belts, remove the spark plugs and then rotate the engine by hand, see if all the timing marks line up.

Also, (barring any ECU/sensor-related malfuncton) the Fuel Presure Regulator could be faulty( do a Fuel pressure test and see if it is within range )
