I was woundering if the distributer off an mx6 either v6 or i4 fit on the mx3 1.8l v6? the mx3 is a 1994.

it the same v6 just a different displacement so give it a try I would venture a safe assumption of yes the V6 will work.

As for the 4Cyc.... I don't think you really ment to ask that 6 cyc vs 4 cyc.

When the distributor went out on my mx6 V6 the first one that I bought to replace it was actually the wrong kind so I took it back to the store I got it from and they told me that there are actually 3 different model distributors for the mx6 v6 and that I had gotten the wrong one. So you may want to check with an auto parts store before you invest in anything.

And definitely don't use the one from a 4cyl.
