Accidentally unplugged 2 hoses..

Hello guyz i was changing my thermostat last night, and i disconnected 2 small hoses which im not sure where they came from... so yeah here's the 2 hoses





and i think this is where they should be plugged into




So yeah please help

I hate it when that happens, atleast you know what you unplugged lol.

Anyways you are correct, those 2 hoses go to the solenoid... I will have to go check under my hood which goes where.

Ok the top hose goes to the side of the solenoid where the wiring harness clips into. The bottom hose should go into the part that is 90 degree or perpendicular to the hose you just hooked up. Finally there should be a cap on the unused part, if you look at the back of your intake manifold there is 2 more of those solenoids and they have caps on the tops of them (look for a Mitsubishi symbol).

dang.. i think the cap hasnt been there for a while now =/! Is it okay to leave it open like that?? Cuz if not, im just gonna try to buy the cap from autozone. (IF they have them of course)

The "cap" thing with the Mitsu symbol is really just a tiny air filter. You won't be able to buy one at Autozone (I think), but it's not really needed. Just leave it open; don't plug it.

If you are required to E Test your vehicle though you will need to have them pluged in and working. I failed my E test 3 times and it ended up being caused by one of thoes solenoid not flowing the air though. I just had to hunt down a recked one and replaced it and passed.
