Clutch recommendations?

this is what i have done:

KLZE, pgt transmission, lightweight flywheel, small dose of nitrous, and i plan on running a set of drag radials or maybe even slicks.

What clutch would you guys recommend for those mods? I would prefer a street usable clutch that could handle about 300 or so HP and ft/lbs of torque.

have you tried a south bend clutch? i've got one in my probe with a ze and it works nicely.

some people will recommend spec, centerforce or some other brand. my personal preference is the ACT clutch, but you'd have to be willing to deal with a very stiff clutch pedal. i chose the DXD/SBC clutch because i got a great deal on it and it offered a good mix of performance and drivability.

I just switched from an CM stage II to a SBC 6-puck and it grabs pretty hard. I would highly suggest a DXD/SBC HD clutch since you are going to be spraying.

Btw your transmission is not going to like those slicks, but your quarter mile times will

for our car's, southbend clutch is the best option. but ive had good luck with act, centerforce, and clutch masters without any issues. but none compare to the feeling of the southbend clutch's ive ran.
