Car has been running warm and stalling out please help!!!

It started doing this yesterday

Car is a 93 mx6 mtx ls v6

but i noticed the car was running hot not overheated just hot like 3/4 maybe less but not normal.

the engine seems not to run real smooth right now kinda a rough idle. the water level seems to be fine. i notice when i give it gas the temp goes up a bit and when it idles the goes not normal temp.

i checked oil level too just fine

today i drove over to home depot and same thing running warm when i give it some gas and cools down on idle. but when i went to leave the car would not stay running it would start but it would stall out after a few seconds on being on. the oil light only comes on after the car is shut off (never on when it is running i got a few codes 15 17 ( i knew about those) 69 (the plug is a bit loose)

could i be having low oil pressure and causing it to run warm

Could be Thermostat
Could be low coolant
Check if the fans are turning on

Usually the temp goes down while driving if the coolant is low, and the temp goes up no matter what when the thermostat is bad.

i need to check the thermostat

coolant seems to be fine, i wonder if there are some air bubbles in the lines but the level does not change every time i drive it

still not losing any water
i changed the thermostat seems a little better but the temp still goes up when i hit the gas.

i found out it looks like my alternator is overcharging my battery.

car off 12.3 v
car on idle 13 ish v
car on over 1300 rmps 17 v

could the alternator be causing it to run hotter?

well i am sure that i need to change it out

Wow, 17 volts is a lot, I would change in a new alternator asap...don't know what kind of damage 17 volts can do the various sensors.

yeah as soon as i read those reading i parked it ordered a new alt and doing it tomorrow.
