New cat recommendations

Hi all,

I'm looking for a new catalytic converter. Mine is hollowed and it smells bad.

I don't want any universal stuff that needs to be wielded (I don't have any tools for that). Direct fit is a must.

I've seen the Pacesetter Monza HiFlow catalytic converter. It's direct fit, OEM replacement. I'm sure it will fit right on my Monza cat-back system I already have. Part # is 80-1406. Anyone have comments about them?

I've seen one for a bit less than 200$ on Spider Performance online shop. Anyone has experience buying stuff from them?

Thank you all

i know you said you don't want a universal but for about $200 you could get a universal high-flow cat and have a shop weld it up for you. worth considering

Is this basically a stock replacement? or is it high flow? Bought a magnaflow muffler, the 14862 dual tip one that everyone likes, and looking for a cat to match
