Exclamation Mazdaspeed Mx6 Guide w/ pictures

The goal of this thread is to make a thread listing the different Mazdaspeed parts that were available for the Mx6 with multiple pictures of everything (if possible).

IF YOU HAVE BETTER PICTURES OR NEW INFORMATION, PLEASE POST THEM HERE AND I WILL EDIT THE THREAD TO INCORPORATE EVERYTHING If you add pictures that I feel better illustrate the part(s) in question, I will copy them to my Photobucket and link it from there so that, as long as my Photobucket exists, the images in the thread will work.

Interesting note: "since Mazdaspeed items were a hot copy item in the 90's, if all it has is a sticker, it's likely a taiwanese or chinese copy. There's a small chance MS removed the FG stamping in later years/runs of certain items but this is unconfirmed. Mazdaspeed sides, lip, wing, rims, exhaust, etc. should all have hard stamping. On the body parts, this would be a raised lettering emboss. The wing had a reverse emboss. The rims have it stamped on the inside lip, with a reverse emboss on the hub side of the rim as well. The exhaust has it etched." ~Goatcrapp

NOTE: The rear pieces on the silver Mx6 are NOT Mazdaspeed pieces. The kit only offered a front lip, side skirts, and a spoiler.
For more info on those pieces, go HERE (Found the Answer to Mysterious Rear Skirts on the Mazdaspeed Mx6!!)

Mazdaspeed front lip

Mazdaspeed side skirts

Mazdaspeed spoiler

Mazdaspeed reflector

Mazdaspeed wheels

Mazdaspeed muffler (??)

Mazdaspeed airbox (??)
"there was a mazdaspeed airbox available... but i've never seen anyone here with it...it was an inline filter sort of like that, with a slightly different looking inlet up front. It ran full width of the hood, and required cutting of the half rubber section on the hood (to a full length section cut out) - there was also no box, nor resonator. I've seen exactly one picture of this years ago and actually think it's a great design. There were no pics of stampings or anything like that so i can't speak about that." ~Goatcrapp

Random different Mazdaspeed pictures. Some are JDM Mazdaspeed originals and some are USDM and ESPEC models with different Mazdaspeed parts added.

My car is going to be the bastard love child of a JDM, ESPEC, and USDM Mx6 threesome.

It's getting there.

Yup, Corksport used to carry them, I almost bought them, they also carried a Mazdaspeed clutch.'

Edit: looking on Corksport, they carry a Mazdaspeed engine mount kit, no pic though.

I remember seeing pictures of those. I thought about getting MS motor mounts but they're too damn expensive and there are good alternatives anyway.

If they offered a MS trans. with a welded diff and upgraded/stronger gears I would buy one.

That last pic of the Eibach box says "Sports Spring Kit" It's probably springs in there.

Audio not working for me...

Looks like it could be more than just springs though on the box, if it's everything standing out in red in the picture.

I'd like to know how well they performed before I'd want them.

I do believe the lip spoiler isn't the MS one though, just a standard Mazda OE accessory, that for some reason didn't really make it on many, if any at all off the lines.

I just wonder why most of the MS 6's I ever see for sale online are the 2.0l V6 of all engines... Anyone got any information/reason to this?
