don't use any bosch plugs in an mx6. mx6 don't like them. for klze, use the same plugs that are used in a 94 miata. that's what I'm using. just get some ngk v-power or if you have the money, get some iridiums

i'll have to agree, don't use the bosch plugs. if anything, stick with the NGK v-power. they're what came in the car stock.

that's true, they were used in the early miatas, but want to know an easier way to look up the spark plug for the ZE?

ask the counter for spark plugs for the 2.0L engine. yep, they're the exact same as the ZE's plugs [and the aforementioned miata].

oh and iridiums are a waste of money on any non-n20 or non-boosted car. don't use those either.

Make sure when buying new spark plugs of a different brand to compare them side by side. If they are bigger or smaller than the ones in your engine, do not use them.

I use NGK BKR6E-11 plugs. Cheap and work well. They are different to the K8 and KLDE plugs.

As said above, Bosch plugs are $40 a pop P.O.S. Don't ever buy them for anything... ever. V-powers are good and cheap. you can pick up a full set for a little over $13. You can use the same plugs as in the DE, but optimal for increased compression would be a range colder plug. Use the number in above post.

I've run both ZFRs and BKRs on ZEs with 10:1. No issues with either, though some have complained about hitting the plug with the piston.. I never have/had.

6F's are good if you're NA. 7F's are better if you're boosted or spraying.

I use those "dreaded" Bosch Platinum +2's and so far I haven't had any issues whatsoever with them in my 2.0 I4.

Give it a minute LOL. I can't believe they have the audacity to sell those things for the price they ask.
