small tip -if you are thinking of using a radiator stop leak DON'T (unless you bypass the iac-even then i wouldn't advise it).if you've read any of my recent posts im changing the motor in my 94 2.0 auto mx6 because of head gasket/water pump failure.well someone that had owned the car before me added stop leak.i have found this stuff everywhere including the iac(im having to use it(iac) because new motor didn't come with one).i had no idea what a mess it could cause-im sure its been posted before but i just wanted to try and save someone a great deal of work getting this stuff out of the cooling system & iac.
btw-i was reading trough some posts because i plan to eventually put a cai or sri(probably because its auto) and i ran upon a post saying you can bypass or hook together the cooling lines to the tb-can this be done without affecting the idling or did i just read it wrong?from what i have read and looking at it(apart-for quiet a few minutes) i thought it was temperature sensitive.?.
