Leather Seats

Hey everyone!
k, so probably like so many others, i have a black leather interior.
Now being that my car is quite old ( 94 ) they are looking a little less than perfect. :P I have been searching around now for quite awhile looking for used leather seats in better condition than mine, but all i could find were beige seats.... ( yuck ;P )
Im now looking at getting them re-done by a company in town, and they quoted around 1400$ for the two front seats.
Now if this is what it takes, i will save for awhile and get it done, but having the Google machine right at my finger tips kinda makes me a bit less inclined to spend the 1400$.

Any thoughtful comments or past experiences would be awesome.

i can get a full set of brand seat covers from katzkin also. and there a perfect fit.

Seems a bit steep to me but not out of the ballpark. Awhile back I got a full set of black seats, front and rear, from a member here for 200. my suggestion would be post in WTB and keep an eye in the classifieds for interiors or cars being parted out.

And poke around to other upholstery places, they may offer you a better price. When my dad got some reupholstry work done he actually had somebody who usually does furniture do it for way less. Although I have no idea if that is the exception or the rule.

That is very high if it is only for 2 seats. I've seen several prices and
it always seems to be $ 400 per seat (that's the cushion and the back).
