Hold Light and Won't Start

My 93 LS with Auto has started to do it again. Only this time my fix of cleaning the transmission electrical connectors didn't work. Here's the problem. The car will turn over but not start. The hold light blinks. The car shows no codes and ran fine previously. On top of cleaning of the connectors I also swapped the computer out with my spare. No difference. Just blinking away. Any ideas on what this could be? Thanks

I believe there is a different procedure for pulling HOLD and O/D codes. Look into it. Have you checked for good spark? Fuel pressure? Perhaps your distributor or fuel pump died. Gotta start with the basics. Spark and fuel.

I just buttoned up what I had taken apart to clean electrical connectors, mainly the air filter box and snorkel. I decided to take another look at the main fuses and found that the EGI relay was hot to touch. Of course the ignition had been in on position for a while so I wasn't alarmed. Regardless, I replaced it with a spare. Turned off the ignition and back on and suddenly all is back to normal. I'm glad it's running again but I'm reluctant to call the problem solved. Could this relay make the hold light flash?
