plastic in distributor

When I was changing out the distributor cap, I noticed some hairline cracks
in the distributor plastic itself (behind the rotor).

Is that anything to be concerned about or mean distributor should be replaced soon ? Car is running fine.

Re: plastic in distributor

If it the same as my fs ditsy.... it should be fine. That plastic cover a metal plate that covers other stuff. Hairline cracks should be fine. If you were missing chuncks I would maybe worry.

I am starting to get a laundry list of stuff done to my car. Does that make it fast? No! Does that mean i spent too much money on a toy? Maybe. Do i have fun every time i jump in my car and drive? Hell yes.
