I'm not sure but I may have a slight problem.
I recently changed my front valve cover gasket along with my spark plugs and wires. The job was much easier than I thought. I now seem to have a slight howling sound from the engine bay when I start the car with the engine cold. It stops when the engine warms up after about 5-10 seconds. Does anyone have any ideas? My guesses were that I maybe overtightened something like the plastic cover connecting to the valve cover on the left hand side. I don't think I overtorqued the VCG bolts nor the spark plugs because I used an inch-lb torque wrench. Maybe I didn't quite align the valve cover but I don't think this is possible given the design of the cover.
Thanks for any info you may have.
