Quick Answers Please :)

Sorry bout all caps, but it had to be done . Anyways, I went and checked out this mx6 v4 stick and the car was in great condition. Old lady driven so never beat on . But to my question. The car has rust all around the rear left wheelwell. The owner said that it was a bad body repair job (someone backed into her in a parking lot), she had paperwork to show she was telling the truth. So how much do you think this would cost to fix? In one area the rust has eaten through all the way.

Damn this is frustrating. They'll sell it to me for 2400 and besides the rust spot it's in damn good condition.

answers?
thanks

I think a bodyshop would know the answer to your question better than we would. The answer is a phonecall away.

By they way it is I4... not v4. There is no such thing as a v4. The "I" stands for inline, which is how the pistons are arranged.

Other than that... my suggestion is don't buy a car with rust, especially if it has eaten through the car. I bought what seemed to be a nice car, and rust I didn't see ate my exhaust manifold on my old mx6. They wanted $1000 for it.

There is rust you can't see. Too much salt damage if it is a northern car for you too worry abuot.

I had rust pretty bad up the left side of the windshield all the way up and down to the rear windshield. Anyways, to get that done and the chip in my door, sanded, primed and painted.. 350 - 400 bucks. This is Canadian money, so maybe less for you if you're American.

If you want to feel rich, count the things you have that money can't buy.
