Shifter sloppiness?

Ok, although I do have a PS shifter, I think the problem lies in the shifter linkage that is just before the tranny. Like... I can put it in gear, say third, and I can "slop" the shifter side to side. There is
about 4 inches from side to side, I put the car on ramps and saw
that the problem was occurring at that spot.
Is there anything I can do for this, does anyone know what this
problem is, and how much could I get a replacement part? etc.

Thanks,
Evan

you need to replace the bushings where your shifter linkage meets the linkage to the tranny. hope this helps. btw bushings are cheap, i believe i paid around $6.

PRM Cai, Ractive front and rear sturt bars, reverse indiglo gauges.
Tokico Illuminas 5-way adjustables, Eibach springs.
