Looking at a '94 MX6, pricing question
I'm looking at a '94 mx6. The car comes with leather, moonroof, good AC, power windows, power locks, power drivers seat.
First, the very good:
- new clutch, calipers, timing belt, water pump, oil pan, drive belts, park break, muffler, battery all within the last 15k miles or so. It has had all regular work done (oil, etc).
Now the other stuff:
- the interior of the car looks like it's in good shape. There are some marks on the leather (probably will come out). The paint on the outside of the car has begun to oxidize in some places (not that badly). There are some dents and dings and scrapes. Again, nothing awful, just wear and tear. In the back left of the car, there is a clunking noise that only seems bad when there is weight in the back seats. The moonroof works, but sometimes has to be pushed upward to get it going.
Mechanically, the car seemed in very good shape, except for the clunking. Anyway, he's asking $2600 for the car. Do you guys think this is a resonable price?
Cliffnotes:
Car has issues. Guy asking 2600, KKB says car worht about 2645 in 'good' condition. I'm thinknig about offering a few hundred less, any advice as to a fair price?
Thanks!
