Throttle body Boring on 2.5

I want to bore out my throttle body but need some advice. So far I have read that 65 mm is the size I should go. Should I send it somewhere or take it to a local machine shop? I am considering buying an extra throttle body so I don't have any down time. Will an automatic throttle body off a 2.5 work? Thanks for the input guys!
