Superfly: There's a clip of this exhaust on page one. It sounds great and it's my favorite one out of the borla, mag, pacesetter, etc. Oh well, my cc was declined dammit. I have no idea where to get them though, I'll keep my eyes peeled on ebay.

Thumbs up

Borla is a 2in mandrel bent pipe all the way back and the cheapest I have found is $470. Do a search on google for the exahust.

Magnaflow only makes mufflers that can be used on the car. And you have to get the muffler shop to make the pipe for your car.

Pacesetter, you can find it pretty cheap just look around on PT and on here for people that sell them. Also on ebay.

What kind of Volt muffler would you get??

Also I have been looking at the Ractive muffler, what do you think about those?

What does the shape of the muffler play in the sound that you will get. I see that they sell oval muffler and round muffler..

This is the discussion (my KLZE)
I found the clip a while back, and thats the guy that owns the muffler. I guess its just the universal one that he has on.

As for reactive... They sound nice, but it just isnt my cup of tea. It sounds rather generic compared to volt, greddy and magnaflow

Here is a good question to ask people:

How can you be sure that you are not going to sound like a fart can or a bunch of bees in a tin can after you install your exhaust???

Oval muffler? Round muffler? pipe size? resonator? test pipe? cat? headers?what size muffler are you or the person used? tip size and length?

What combination would result in the best sound. Other than buying a catback system like borla or greddy...

And by best sound I mean, nothing that is going to wake the people up down the street 2 miles. Something nice and deep and but you know and other people can tell you have an exhaust on there now.

Helpful tips from people that might have heard a mx6 or probe with a set up that was just bad. Learn from others mistakes.

Also, how many people are using round muffler?? How do they sound compared to an oval muffler? I would like to know size of both please. plus the rest of the set up as well..
