Here is my LS with a ractive 2.5" twin tip exhaust. I have a 3" intake, a Catco high flow catalytic converter, and 2.25" custom catback exhaust. Enjoy:
And please don't flame me about the location of this vid. I did it on a work day in the afternoon and made sure no one was around. And I only did one quick run...
Edit: I just listened to the video that was posted and there is a crackling noise throughout - this has to do with the video conversion when posting and has nothing to do with my exhaust sound itself
ive listened to all the magnaflo clips and not one sounded like mine i think every onne needs to relize that these clips will only give you a slight idea of what each exhaust will sound like its really not all that acurate but never the less a great idea
Boys, I think y'all karma nuked him into bannination.

when I had my mx-6 v6 I had 2.5" crush bent piping from the cat to a resonator bought on Ebay. then 2.5" crush bent piping to a cheap turbo muffler i got from jcwhitney or something, then a beautiful oval tip. the resonator got rid of any rasp...it was a smooth sound, and growled nicely when you got on the gas. da**it i miss my 6 :-(
hey guys whats up. the other day i was messing around with my car and i decided to put back on my cat converter but i still wanted it to be semi loud not like the test pipe though and so i cleand out the cat with water then i took a screw driver and and tore out the first comb or baffle what ever its called and the i bolted it back on and it sounds awesome i cant get clips yet couse camera is in the shop but it sounds amazing really low no buzzing or anything and i could feel a little more pull when getting on it

I just got my exhaust changed from headers on... 2 1/4 inch pipe with the magnaflow muffler. It sounds ricey as i head 4k rpm. After about half an hour of driving it goes away for a bit. Is it the muffler or poor installation. By the way, i had my OEM cat replaced with a high flow.

Exactly what did you use? Pics of the magnaflow muffler? What high flow cat?
Hi, I have purchased and installed a borla cat-back, removed the cat and replaced with a straight-threw pipe, and have a high-flow flexpipe.
I purchased a set of pacesetter headers (new) from a guy who trashed his PGT and never installed the headers.
It seems as if there is not alot of support for pacesetter, I know the quality of manu. could be a little better however based on the design (long-header with no loop) one would think if re-coated and wrapped would yield some power gains.
My question is, does or has anybody heard this combination before? I really do not want to lose that beautiful sound the borla set-up produces, however I am looking for hp gains. I your opinon and experence do you think this will ruin my sound?
I've never personally heard the pacesetter headers on a car but the reputation is that they give the most hp gains but have the poorest construction/fitment and sound terrible.
Thanks for the input, I plan to re-inforce all weldments on the headers and I will enamel coat plus heat wrap and then silcone spray them. However, I am still wondering what kind of hp gains are we talking about, and even with the borla resonator and muffler you still think it will sound like crap.
The reason I ask is because, one does not want to take this project on in the event that he stands to gain 3hp and a destroyed sound for $200 and if everything goes well approx. 12 hours of labour plus some welding (not stock set-up). I don't mind the work but is it worth it.
