There is a guy on probetalk looking at a way to run a ze ecu on obdII, but he's not sure if it will work, but he's going to try.
I just swapped from OBD-II to OBD-I, and replaced only the ECU/engine harness.

I had a pickle of a time getting the factory alarm and gauge cluster to work after that because the two blue plugs to the right of the ECU behind the dash no longer had the wires in the right places, but I got that sorted out yesterday and she runs great.

i'm obd2 it runs i had to swap the disty with an obd1 for some strange reason, it runs but the ECU is always fighting you. It realises that something is different and throws codes compared to the obd1. With the switches installed it runs just as fast as an 93 ZE obd1 so there is no real reason to swap except for the codes which can be dealt with. The only real difference is 0bd1 doesn't realise anything is different after the swap and the obd2 does and it tries to correct things on it's own, in essence everytime you mod it, it wants to fight you on it.

The only cel i get is for the missing egr tube on the intake manifold. Reused the 96 disty and i bought 2 used elect. connector ends for the vris seliniods, and wired them in leaving the old connectors intact, strapped to the fire wall. I used baker electronix adjustable window switches not msd, but i got both for the price of 1 msd, and they work great. The rest of my mods are hs. headers and cai, 65 mm tb, rr inserts, and 2.5 full exhaust, no cats.

Ya i'm not really sure why they couldn't get my 4 disty's to work but i saw it with my own eyes and they didn't it cost me quite a bit more like 1100 cdn and now i'm stuck with a few extra obd2 disty's which are hard to unload.
