Fidanza short throw shifter Anyone using it?

Probe garage is selling a fidanza short throw shifter for the mx6 and I am wondering if anyone is using one and how the quality is?-Justin

i am NOT using one. but i have heard people say its not bad at all.

I'd probably go with rr racing's. only one that i haven't heard complaints.

Well I have the rr racing shifter in my turbo car and I love it. I was just seeing if anyone had tried the fidanza one.

what do people think of the cosmo racing sts for our vehicles? i have one sitting on my desk waiting to be installed

The Cosmo STS is great! The install required me to take off the lower rubber o-ring on the shifter...it wouldn't fit in otherwise. Regardless, it sits in there nice and tight...no movement at all. Another thing is I tossed the stock plastic snap ring that was holding the stock shifter in place (there is a plastic snap ring and a metal one) I kept the metal one, but it was pretty trickey to fit back in...although it did go in. It feels nice though...it takes some getting used to though, because the throw is cut back by at least 40%. Its almost like a "flick of the wrist" to shift now.

Just remember to LOAD it up with white grease when you install it.

if you go with the RR racing one, make sure u get the polly bushings. i hear it is stiff it without them. i got the B&M one sitting in my room. i havent installed it yet.
