Alex and the 5.0
The 97's were a bit different with a 4.6 Modular and about the same hp. I think stock to stock the 4.6 was just a hair faster because they rev'd better. I killed 5.0's allot with my 97 GT. I also had a 94 DE with some minor bolt ons and could hang with stock or Flowmastered 5.0 GT's (Like all of them it seems.) I have yet to get a chance to run a 96-04 GT with my new older (93) with the KLZE. My son has a 95 MX6 LS with a K&N, UR Pulley, and a Dynomax Superturbo and it is not even a race. After only a few weeks after dropping in the ZE an 05 GT Stang jumps on it in front of me at a light. I follow suit and he sees me but he cannot pull from me and in fact it seemed to me that I had peddle it slightly afraid to run up on his butt. We ran all the way through 3rd and just after 4th and I let off as we were like at 85-90 on a 45 mph blvd. Don't want to die yet. The new gen Stangs are low 14 cars as well so that is another indicator of the ZE's performance.
93 LS- KLZE, Underdrive pulley, SS Autochrome Headers, CAI, R-R Poly mount inserts, Probinator ECU mod, Test Pipe, Dodge Stratus R/T 17"wheels.
Toy: 64 VW bug, Building a 2017cc Stroker motor. Should be low 14 second car.
