I'm having some issues getting mine to work... They are from an 07 ms6. the bracket is slightly different but it still mounts right up. It just doesn't cross the front of the caliper like the one in the pictures... but the real problem is that I can't get them to pressurize. I've got them on and I have zero brake pressure. The lines don't even fit quite right. That little nub valve thing sits on the back of this caliper and gets in the way of me being able to put the line into it's groove so I had to flip the fitting over to get it attached. But no pressure. Yes I bled the lines.
Any ideas? Please help asap. I finally just brought it to a mechanic and they are retarded and can't figure it out at all so it's pretty much up to me.

Have any pics? I'm betting you mounted something wrong. Is the bleeder at the top?
no... no pictures right now and it's at the mechanic. No the bleeder is on the back of the caliper. it's not on the top of the caliper like it is in the original pictures... If I got some braided steel lines with a 90 fitting would that do it do you think?
I'm assuming that the bleeder is the little valve on the top that looks like it should have a quick disconnect thing right? Yes I'm pretty new to this whole thing obviously.
I don't mean literally on top of the caliper. It's on the back of the caliper, but the bleeder should be higher than where the brake line connects.
Is this what the back of the caliper looks like?
the bleeder valve should be at the back, but on the top. make sure you have the calipers on the correct sides. they should say R and L I think. I haven't actually put mine on, but I have the 06-07 mazda6 calipers sitting in my garage (fronts), but they're not the MS. The banjo bolts should bolt right up. If you need, get some new copper crush washers, 2 for each brake. Take one of your old ones to an auto store and say you need 8 new ones.
yeah they are on the correct sides.. they were labeled(sp) right and left and they are on top.. and they bolted right up so they are on correctly. that picture is what they look like. Thanks so far. Like I said, would getting a braided line with a 90 degree fitting help?
Probably not, my calipers look just like those on the back and I used Goodridge stainless lines for an MX-6 without issue. If you're not getting any pressure your master cylinder might be toast, that's what happened to mine.
So it looks like the general consensus is that the MS6 conversion is the best bang for the buck, right? Except that we haven't found a solution for the lacking e-brake?
If I am seeing this right, the complete swap with OEM parts from Mazda will run nearly $1000. Does that sound right?

yes if you are going by list prices from the dealer. lambera posted up pics of invoices and stuff with list prices and everything seemed pretty pricey

I spent about $500 for the front using aftermarket slotted/dimpled rotors (not cheap eBay ones, mine have a lifetime warranty, not that 90 day bullshizz), A1 Cardone reman'd calipers from RockAuto and EBC Greenstuff pads.

Well the mechanic got it to pressurize I guess at least for the most part. It's still the stock lines though so I'm gonna throw on some steel lines and that should stiffen it up some more so it should be ok. Thanks a ton for the help.

Don't buy cheap eBay lines, you'll regret it in the future. Jordan (Radar) had one of his eBay lines burst on him. It's all about Goodridge.
