Turbo it! Run it at as much boost you can. I mean a 2.0 engine is a dime a dozen. You could grenade it and be out what? 200.00? The 2.0 I4 would be simple to install in comparison.

Toy: 64 VW bug, Building a 2017cc Stroker motor. Should be low 14 second car.

It isnt. It has its merits, but there is a reason the 2.5L is an upgrade, you would be crazy to go back. I know which thread you are talking about.

on the Z28 he work to ECU himself. but off that subject. Stackes, like AMA Racing Bike they sit right on top on the intake. I'm going to do exhasut and intake later, just right now Im getting the cornering down 1st. Just my 93 mx6 2.0 before this one had full exhaust and intake and on the freeway i raced a mx6 2.5 and i was i little bit fast to 115mph, this is way i was asking about chips, but programmer to like off your laptop. I know ECU in almost ever car and truck in tuned down and there is more power just with a little work...

They arent tuned down all the time, most cars are tuned fine. Cars sell on power ratings as well, even shoping trolley cars. OEM makers try to get the best ballance of power vs efficiency, and 99% of the time efficiency means burn as well. A few hours on the dyno is not better then the millions manufactures spend on R & D.
