3000gt VR4 Brake Upgrade

I've read all the threads on this upgrade on both forums and know what is involved but I wanted to know how well they hold up to heavy use since a fair bit of grinding is done to make them fit and I plan on using them at the track. Did anyone who did this upgrade ever break anything or figure out a way to strengthen the mounting points?
Thanks
