Alright gentlemen, my car has been cutting out on occasion and if i go full throttle after cruising between 3k and 3250, and my gas is below 1/4 it cuts/ stutters. I am thinking this is the fuel pump going out or strainer getting clogged.
It make no sense for me to pull the tank and not put in a new pump, in my mind. cap rotor and plugs have less than 10k on them and when i replaced them in the past it didnt seem to help. The car has 150k miles and i try to never run it below 1/8 of a tank and in two years have only seen the gas light once and that was when i bought it. Modifications can be found in my signature or on my build thread.
My question is what a decent fuel pump to get and I eventually want to boost. I was looking at 255lph hp fuel pumps and was thinking of going with this one:

I know not all fuel pumps are created equal but does anyone have any suggestions? I want to spend less than $75 shipped with strainer kit. And since I plan to boost would prefer to only do this once rather than now and later.
