Hi. I have a naturally aspirated v6 KLDE engine in my 6. Its a 94. The only mods I have are a cold air intake and catalytic converter delete. I want to do an exhaust upgrade and later, a 65mm throttle body.
The exhaust I am thinking of doing is a full header back exhaust with SS headers with the same ratios as the obx headers. I plan on keeping my cat-less setup and going full SS mandrel bent exhaust with a magnaflow muffler.
Now the question is, should I make it 2.5 inch? Or keep it the stock 2.25(I believe)? The headers end in 2.5in, and I could have that all the way to the tips. Has anyone had bad experiences with going 2.5 over 2.25? I might do more with the engine later. Like ze cams and ported/polished im and stuff. Will I see losses with 2.5 over stock?
And how much HP+MPG am I looking for with this header back system?
Thanks
