you dont need it, but it is helpful, the stock elbow has a lot of ridges in it as well as the silencers.

I belive someone on probetalk.com made/sells them but that doesnt really help you out. I bet you could go to the an exhaust shop and ask them to sell you a MANDREL bent piece that you could polish your self. Or jcwhitney.com sells exhaust pieces you could buy and polish. I said that because i think its to much to pay for a metal tube thats all.

but in my engine bay there is like i think a tube leading from the radiator to the air box or somewhere near it, wouldnt that be in the way of this instake?
