Buying a performance clutch!!

I need a new clutch anyways, mine seems to be worn down... what one is best to go with? Is the exedy on EBAY a k-mart rip off?? i just want to be able to notice something with it, some hp differential would be nice.... Let me know!! and also opinions between Greddy and borla cat back exhausts, which one?!?!!!

Italian Stallion, Siciliano, 93 Mx-6 Ls, Dark Green,Hot Shot Cold air intake, High Flow cat with 2.5 custom piping exhaust, Pacesetter short throw shifter, 17'' Konig Absolutes,1.5' drop H&R Springs, KYB STRUTS, Nology Plugs and Wires, Alipine 60X4 Output, Kenwood Speakers all around.

I would also go with the clutchmaster from RR-Racing. Anything short of FI/Major N20 Shot/increbile amount of NA work/ the Stage 1 CM should do u fine.

Both ACT and CM are well liked without to much controversy across Probetalk and MX6.com, so do some search/reading and its up to u.

I love my CM Stage 1!!!!

As for the Ebay stuff....don't know anybody that has one, but you can always look to a rule of thumb: "you get what you pay for"

especially concerning performance parts.

those exedy clutch kits on ebay have 30% better holding than stock which is what the clutchmaster stage 1 has correct??

EDIT: sry, the Clutchmaster has 40% stiffer pressure plate than stock
If you want something better than the ebay ones, get the clutchmaster stage IIR, it has same pressure plate but a better disk!

Guys, those clutches on EBAY are a TOTAL RIPOFF!!!! The pressure plates are 100% stock.

EXEDY is a division of DAIKEN clutch, THEY DO NOT MAKE 30% STIFFER PRESSURE PLATES FOR THE PROBE/MX6 V6!!! They make stiffer pressure plates for some other cars, BUT NOT FOR THE mx6/probe. I am absolutely 100% sure of that. Anyone who tells you otherwise is flat out lying to you. You can even call Exedy and ask.

Depends. How are your motormounts now? If they are torn then the inserts can save u from having to replace them. They are great for combating wheel hop when launching. I love mine, but you can always fill your exisiting mounts with polyurethane and accomplish the same thing.
