Tell me, Mr. Anderson, what good is a phone call when you are unable to speak?
Location:
don't know if its an option for you , but i'm sending my cam to crower cams for a regrind. check out crower.com or call (619)422-1191. they won't be able to give you any specifics until they have your cam , but i'm told that they offer 2 regrinds ( mild and hot) depending on how your cam measures up. i recently picked up a motor from a local bone yard ($100) to rebuild and pulled the cam a few days ago. i've not shipped it off yet (lazy) but it'll be gone soon. cost on the regrind is $80(not bad).
Grinding means lightening... aren't the purpose of after market cams is to have a longer duration thus opening the valves longer? Sorry I know it will help but the stock duration will still be there.
