I4 rods

to my understanding the protege mp3 has the fsze engine, so would that meen that the rods would fit in my car??? pauter rods said they would make my rods for me, but they quoted a mp3. as soon as i get confermation from someone who knows what they are talking about, i will be purchasing these rods

You will have a better chance getting this answered on Probetalk.I am almost positive they will fit we all have the same 2.0 just different intake,head and pistons.Along with different electrical but that is another story,

Check with Flyin Protege they carry rods for the FS engine, and they are Pauter rods. They run around $720 for the set If there is anything available as far as internals for the FS engine series on other cars, most likely it ill fit on our cars.
