im sure this has been gone over before, but i have no patients when it comes to looking for things. me and a freind were discussing mazda engines today, and he said that the millenia has the exact same engine as the mx6, i said he is wrong. what engine does the millenia have, and what are the differences
the milenia came with 2 engine options one being a 2.5l v6 same as the one in the mx6 and 626 and the other was supercharged 2.3l v6 guess your friend was right
damn, so they did come with the kl03. huh, then why did they only come atx, does anyone know if anyone did a mtx swap?? i wouldnt mind to have one and do the swap
nope, the kl in the millenia is a little different. The IM is a little bigger, the sensors are located a little differently. I believe that the cams are also a little more aggressive, forgive me if I'm wrong.
If they're the same engine, then why are so many people swapping with millenia parts??? They are a little different.

From what I hear, it's a mix of 03 and ze parts....
Not sure on that though.

MSIIv3 Extra 2.0.1: custom 36-1 reluctor ring; fabulous! Crazy N/A. 95 MX-6 LS-ZE
The Millenia does indeed come with two engines...one is a supercharged miller cycle engine and the other is a a bit different then the one found in the 626/probe/mx6. The heads are the same (KL31) as the ZE heads...they flow better and have the squared off ports. The IM is also different...it flows better than ours.
