You've read all this and you can't figure anything out? Jeez.

Go buy an intake if you want somewhere to start.

I didnt find an intake that effective, I was thinking about something else other than an intake.

Headers or cams will be your best bang for your buck. But neither of those installations are simple.

underdrive pulley works good not too hard to install, intake is good, exhaust is more for sound, headers are awesome i think hotshot are the best but that is my opinion! outlaw spacers are good as well. either way they will never be 13 sec cars without either FI or nitrous

I LUV THIS STUFF!!

Ive been told two different stories about a KLZE motor swap. Ive had my swap already, but it still feels like the same amount of HP. The ZE still has the DE Intake Manifold and is still running on the stock ECU. I was told that it was the DE intake manifold not giving me all the power i was looking and that if i put the ZE on ill feel a greater difference. Than i was told by a mechanic that no matter what intake manifold i put on, that it will always give the same amount of output because the motor is the same size, but if i changed my ECU (harness and everything) i would feel that lost power. I dont know which source to believe. Can anyone provide me with some input?

In order to feel the full power of the ZE you NEED the ECU, thats all there really is to it.

That mechanic is a dumbass. People switch to the ZE or Millenia manifold all the time. Why? Because it makes a difference in power... And you do NOT have to switch the wiring harness, just the ECU. Seems like it wasn't even the whole ECU you have to change, but I don't remember. Do you have the jspec VAF? That will give you more of the ZE power as well. All of this information should be found in a quick search. Actually, it can probably be found in the KLZE FAQ

the klze has higher compression its better to turbo the 03 in my opinion. and also he does need the ecu and the vaf in order for it to work right otherwise u will be runnin like a 03 with intake and exaust.
