evo, the only reasons the blower would not work on one speed is the resistor pack or the blower switch itself not working on "4". You mentioned in your other thread that you got a replacement resistor pack from a GT. looking at the diagrams in the shop manual, the resistor pack appears to be slightly different between the pushbutton control (GT) and manual lever control (DX/LX) cars (a green shunt wire is connected in a slightly different spot). I would get the resistor assembly from a car with the manual lever controls (LX/DX) and try that. If that doesn't work, try replacing the switch.
